+# Support for Mac OS X
+
+## The problem
+
+Your Mac OS X build is not up to date, or I found an issue in it.
+
+## Reason
+
+I don't support Mac OS X at all. I don't own a Mac, don't have access to one, have never programmed in that environment and can therefore not provide builds and support for it.
+
+There are, however, several options for Mac users which are provided by third parties:
+
+1. Builds by Harry require no extra software to be installed. Please contact him at harry_mkvtoolnix.osx@posteo.de if you have problems with his build.
+1. Builds by Jonathan Buschmann requiring no extra software to be installed. If and when he updates his builds is totally up to him. Please [contact him directly](http://jonthn.free.fr/MKVtoolnix/CONTACT) with any question or support request.
+1. Builds by the [Mac Ports](http://www.macports.org/install.php) project. They're usually up to date pretty quickly but require having Mac Ports itself installed. Please follow up on issues with their builds [through their support channels](https://trac.macports.org).
+1. Builds by the [HomeBrew project](http://brew.sh). Please contact them with issues with their builds.
