Muxing MPLS files from Blu-rays can cause mkvmerge to get stuck in an endless loop. The [issue has already been fixed](https://gitlab.com/mbunkus/mkvtoolnix/issues/1801), and new [pre-builds for Windows](https://mkvtoolnix.download/windows/pre/) are available.
This happens with recent AMD processors due to bugs in said recent AMD processors. BIOS/Firmware upgrades should fix the problem. See [issue 2589](https://gitlab.com/mbunkus/mkvtoolnix/issues/2589) for details.
